Another What A Hoot card

So if one is good then two must be better? This is my second What a Hoot card this month but I think they look completely different from each other. I love the colour combination of purple, green and orange for Halloween. There is a little accent of the new Black Striped Twill Ribbon- love it! You can find it here and it is a great value at $7.75 for 5 yard. As you can tell I have been having so much fun playing with the new ShinHan Twin Touch markers. (I think I am slightly addicted-shhh!)

You can find all the products that I used at my website here. Don't forget to add the great Stamp of the Month, What a Hoot to your order.

My project features the Skylark Picture My Life Cards, this is a carryover item from the last Idea Book. I love the colour combinations. I used the Picture My Life cards on a traditional layout. I cut them up, punched them out and stamped on them.
The first thing I did was spray the page with Lagoon reinker from a spray pen. Then I added all sorts of cards, they are tucked under, cut up, punched out this all creates layers and texture. Topped the whole thing off with a Glitter paper title, some wahshi tape and aqua dots.

Tool Time Tuesday

This month I have decide to feature a new tool from Close To My Heart. I feel like sometimes people put aside the purchase of a tool in exchange for a great new paper kit or embellishment but a great tool is always worth it. Lots of the tools that Close To My Heart has to offer are very expensive and well worth the minimal investment. How about $5.50 ? The Bone Folder is well worth it.
Here is a short video highlighting the features and benefits.

Enjoy! Chris

As soon as I saw the new Crush In The Pink line of products I was in love. The only issue was I didn't know if "crushing" was for me. Hmm- what to do? How about I use it on my 12x12 scrapbook pages, that works. I love that when you rip the pages from the book there is the rough notebook edge. Then all the different elements make great layers, I used the Crush In The Pink Assortment and some My Crush In The Pink Sticky Tabs. Then I added a bit of the new Lagoon Heart Washi and a few glitter gems (love them) for some sparkle.

The crush elements can be used in so many different ways, in a Crush album, on a scrapbook page, to jazz up your Picture my Life page, as an element on a home decor project. I am sure you could think of a few more way too- now that we are working outside of the box!!

Here are the detail pictures...
