I decided to try something new and fun that I had never tried before- Re-inker bubbles. I love bubbles always have!! When the kids were little I had a bubble machine that we used to set up in the back yard every time they went out to play. This was super easy and fun. I started with a covered surface (outside) as it can get a bit messy. In a small glass jar I mixed re-ink (Lagoon) and bubbles, mixed them.
I dipped the wand and blew them right on to the paper. It took a few tries to get the right mix but I love the way they turned out on the paper.

Then I set to work to use the paper.
Here is a layout that I used the Bubble Paper on as my background.

Here are the detail close-ups.

Here is a quick card that I created with another piece of the bubble paper.

I really hope that you learned something new here!

Family Is Forever Gift Bag

As I said before I think the September Stamp of the Month, Family Is Forever is a great addition for any scrapbook or card maker. Here I have used it along with a cut from the Artise Cricut cartridge, on page 79. Once the bag was cut I inked up the stamp in Chocolate, Topiary and Sorbet ink from Close to My Heart.
Here are the details about the Stamp of the Month- here.
Each month you can purchase a new D-size stamp set, available for one month only, for just $5 — that’s over 70% off retail! When you place an order of $50 or more in Close To My Heart products, you qualify for this special Stamp of the Month pricing.
Enjoy! Chris

#30yearsofhappy SWAK box

I know what a funny title but it is a super cute project! It is not very big but I thought it was perfect to compliment the #30yearsofhappy stamp set. I cut the box from pg.38 in the Cricut Artiste cartridge in White Daisy, then I stamped the whole box alternating between Lagoon and Hollyhock. Then I added a little tag to the front, stamping the "sweet" in Hollyhock again and popping it up with Foam tape.
I am thinking it is the perfect size to put a few Hershey Kisses in, don't you?
Here are the detail on the #30daysofhappy stamp set, here.

Tool Time Tuesday

This weeks tools are re-inker and the spray pen. I love to play with the re-inker in other ways then just to re-ink your stamp pads, and the spray pen is a natural complement. The spray pens can be used over and over again as long as you take care of them.
Here is a great video on the two products.

Enjoy! Chris

Family Is Forever Card

What a great stamp we have this month for the Stamp of the Month in September, it is called Family is Forever. I think it is a great stamp set for a scrapbooker as well as the card maker. Here is the first card I have made with the stamp set.
It was a super quick card that also shows the new paper pack called "Chalk It Up"- super fun for back to school and many other things. I love the really beautiful colour combination.
