Hockey like an NHL Star!

Well I am not sure how much more exciting M's season could be and it just got started. On Friday at 2:30 in the afternoon his coach called a dryland practice for Saturday at 11am. Brian and I were both working so we had made other plans for him. We emailed the coach to let him know, a few hours later he called and asked if there was anyway we could get him there. He had a special coach coming. So like a good parent I rearranged my work day to take him & brought along the camera!
This is M as he notices the special guest coach is Travis Zajac!!

I just have to say it was fun for me to watch as M was soaking in all he had to say...

I think you can tell by the smile on his face the fun he had!!

He soaked in all the information he gave them. In the end he signed hockey cards for all of them.

I am very thankful I was able to change my plan to get him there and take pictures!

Where did the time go?

Wow, we are in the final stages of getting ready for back to school. We had an amazing summer around here. I am sure that is why there have been no post but now I am back at it. We were able to spend a ton of time at the lake. M even sailed in the Provincial's. What fun.

The highlight of the summer was our two week trip to PEI. There will be more photos to follow but here are just a few!

Now off to finish filling out school forms and writing cheques!

Strawberries anyone!

So one of my most favorite things to do is take the kids and go strawberry picking. The boys did a great job. After they got to go to the petting zoo. As I have city kids they thought this was super fun!

What a great day. And the jam is already in the jars. Just waiting for them to seal.

Summer has started!

Well summer is finally here. The kids are out of school and now it is time to enjoy the outdoors. Yesterday afternoon there was a crazy storm blow thru. We are luck none of the tornado activity here but there was lots of thunder and lightening plus some hail!! What a way to start!

My Beautiful Dancer!

She has always wanted to dance! And she always has, ever since she saw Baby Bop on Barney dress up as a ballerina. But Wow! has she grown. We are so Proud of her! The first layout was her audition a year and a half ago for Professional Division.

The next one are just photos of her dancing that I love!

A couple of traditional pages!

It has been awhile so I thought I might post a couple of my tradition pages as of late. I love these pictures of Hans eating the apples. These pictures must be a dozen years old now as she has a full head of hair and is almost as tall as me.

The second page is just last year. The flagfootall team became a great group of friends by the end of the year. How better to celebrate the end of the season then with a slurpee!!!I am really loving the banner across the top.

I love the tough look!

The kids were trying to look all tough. They could hardly hold back the giggles! This was a skateboarding park in the back of the Mexican restaurant we were eating at. They had a blast!!
